Art was one of the volunteers who would come to the Center to fly Karma during the Red-tailed Hawks daily flights. They had a great friendship and Art often said that flying Karma was the best part of his life

Sometimes Miracles Happen!

At Eastern Sierra Wildlife Care’s hospital, most wild birds and mammals arrive with injuries from a wide variety of causes—fractured wings and legs from vehicle hits, head injuries from impacts with cars or windows, lacerations from cats and dogs and fishhooks. Some can be helped, and some cannot. And sometimes, miracles happen.
